Business Development Manager:

This position will lead and develop new market platforms and grow existing markets to achieve long-term goals. Primary components of the role include:
Develop and coordinate strategies to successfully penetrate new market platforms. Work with Business and Product Manager to identify feasibility of new segments. Develop business plans, strategies, and action plans for identified target market segments and existing business. Drive the segment strategies (e.g. Green Strategy) for ITW TACC and the individual business segments, as assigned by Business Managers. Identify and develop new markets for existing ITW TACC products. In partnership with Business/Product Managers, develop strategies to penetrate existing and develop new opportunities within each market segment. Determine customer adhesive requirements in targeted markets by analyzing and defining the market needs for strategic sales growth. Provide monthly reporting to Business Manager to include pertinent account data as it relates to specific projects. Assist with acquisitions aligned with company and group strategies.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
BS degree required, MBA desirable. Proven strategic and tactical planning skills. Minimum of 5-7 years of work related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with and positively influence all levels within the organization. Business travel required, occasionally on short notice.
