MIRACLE-KINGCO DUCT SEALANT EARNS UL 181B-M AND GREENGUARD CHILDREN & SCHOOLS^SM

Rockland, MA (May 20, 2008):  Miracle-Kingco, a leading HVAC brand from adhesives and sealants manufacturer ITW TACC, has received critical approvals from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI).

In UL 181B testing, ULTRASEAL™ GREEN was certified as a mastic system for use with flexible (non-metallic) air ductwork. ULTRASEAL™ GREEN also underwent 3rd party emissions testing to become ITW TACC’s 15th GREENGUARD Children & Schools CertifiedSM product.

ULTRASEAL™ GREEN is a fibrous interior/exterior-grade sealant used for fabricating, sealing and coating air ducts, and is resistant to mold, mildew, water, oil, extreme temperature changes and aging, according to ITW TACC. The sealant meets SCAQMD Rule 1168 air quality requirements and contributes to several green building rating system credits, including LEED®.
